WWE SmackDown episode of August 9, 2024, will see the return of Roman Reigns to the brand as the fallout for Summerslam continues. AJ Styles will appear live.During SummerSlam 2024, LA Knight won his first United States Championship by defeating Logan Paul. He will be making his debut appearance with the US title this week on SmackDown. Roman Reigns made dramatic return at SummerSlam, attacking Solo Sikoa. WWE has announced that Reigns will also return to SmackDown this week, where he is expected to discuss his future. Speculation suggests that Reigns may face confrontation from Solo Sikoa and the new Bloodline. Additionally, Nia Jax won the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam by defeating Bayley. Jax will be showcasing her new title on SmackDown this week, and a championship celebration with Stratton is planned. Cody Rhodes, having successfully defended his title against Solo Sikoa, is also set to appear on this week’s SmackDown.

Roman Reigns, “Original Tribal Cheif”, gave the final blow as Cody Rhodes defeated Solo Sikoa on his return at SummerSlam. Roman will now appear on the blue brand as well this week. Three title changes happened at SmackDown last week. Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga of The Bloodline became WWE Tag Team Champion. LA Knight became the United States Champion at SummerSlam beating Logan Paul. Nia Jax won the Women’s title beating Bayley at SummerSlam.
